This is going to be a relatively short post. We only spent 3 days (technically, 2 nights and 2 days) in Austin and Mama didn't have a working camera with her. We promise to return for more, soon! I'm sure, this won't be our first and last visit to the lovely Capital of Texas.
Papa was scheduled to attend a training in Austin and, of course, Mama and I tagged along. Mama was really excited, especially since she will be able to visit her long-time friend, Tita Weng in their pretty Austin home. I was really excited, too, because I will get to play with Abby again. :)
Our initial plan was to leave Houston last Monday at three in the afternoon. With three hours of driving ahead of us, there should have been lots of time for us to proceed to their home and have dinner. Unfortunately, Papa was super swamped with work and was only able to leave the office at 6pm. We had to postpone our visit to Abby's house because we would already arrive at their home at around 11pm (nakakahiya, sobrang late!). Anyway, gracious Tita Weng agreed to meet us the following night for dinner instead. It was a good thing also because Tito Dondi will be arriving from his business trip the following day, so at least we will be able to spend time with him, too.
Thank you, Tita Weng for sharing the pics with us, or else we wouldn't have any mementos of our visit. :)

Yummy dinner! The Sarciado beats Chinese, anytime. :) (l-r): Tito Dondi, Abby, Ninna, Mama, Tita Weng, and Papa.
I had so much fun playing with Abby and watching LazyTown that I bawled non-stop all the way back home to our hotel. Anyway, Mama promised that I'd get to see Abby again tomorrow. I so much looked forward to that!
And it turns out, Mama and Tita Weng were also looking forward to our destination the following day: Round Rock Premium Outlets!

While the daddies are away (at work), the mommies will play, hehe.

And Abby and I will play, too!

Love our rides? Our Mamas got us these fun (and easy to maneuver) krazee kruzzers. Here we are, slurping smoothies at Smoothie Paradise in style.

Mama and me enjoying our ice creams.
Bitin, bitin, bitin! I really, really wish we had more time! Suddenly, it was the end of the day and it was time to head back to Houston. But... not without a promise to come back. :)
Thanks Tito Dondi, Tita Weng, and Abby for feeding our hungry tummies and our shopping-hungry hearts, hehe. Hope to see you again really soon! :)
