April 19 2007: Charlotte, North Carolina
Despite the on-going thunderstorm, Mama took me to see the Doodlebops Live concert at the Cricket Arena, here in Charlotte.

Can't wait for the curtains to come up!

It was so exciting to finally see them perform live!
As seen on Playhouse Disney, the Doodlebops is "the world's most famous rock band" composed of Deedee, Rooney, and Moe. The show fosters valuable learnings through music, fantasy, and fun. More importantly, the series encourages critical thinking skills, pro social behavior, music appreciation, movement, and more.

We love the Doodlebops!
The Doodlebops have been touring the country since September of last year, and Charlotte was their last stop for the season. It took us a while to get the tickets, and when we finally did, we couldn't get front row seats anymore! Nevertheless, I'm glad we still caught their last show of the tour, even if we had to sit so high up!

That's Bus Driver Bob hosting the pre-show!

Here are the Deedee, Rooney, and Moe with Audio Murphy (the puppet)!

Here are the Doodlebops getting on the Bus! But not before Moe does his trademark breakdancing routine!
And then, that's when Mama realized she's not allowed to take pictures, phooey! But Mama had a belly-laugh moment about Rooney's joke about Bus-driver Bob's "replacement". Ask her about it sometime :)
Watching the show with us were my friends and their parents!

That's Ate Najee, Ate Ashley and Trez, together with Tita Nanette and Tito Tata.

That's Mommy Ellaine with Eizen (who is intensely focused on the show) and Ate Ellys.
The show lasted only about 90 minutes (including the break!) and we were all sad when it was over because we really had a great time! :) Btw, we did the Doodlebop pledge twice, hehe!

Here's Mama and me at the end of the show.
We had to get out of there because the guards were already shooing us away, hahaha!. Anyhow, that was a really fun show! I'm really glad we got to see it (and I didn't fall asleep at all (like I did at the Wiggles Show, hehe!). :)
