Hersheypark

September 4 2006: Hershey, Pennsylvania

We've always wanted to go to Hersheypark, especially my Mama, because we are all chocolate lovers. Now is the perfect time to go because Hersheypark is just an hour-and-a-half away from Baltimore, where we have been staying this weekend. Anyway, we specifically wanted to know if they did indeed give away free chocolates here, hehe. Would you like to know?

Let me keep you in suspense and show you our pictures first.

Outside the theme park is Hershey's Chocolate World. Here, they show how Hershey's makes its chocolates. This was our first stop.

Wow! A giant, walking Kiss!

Look at me, I am a Hershey's Factory Worker! Will work for chocolates.

Here's my ID. (Mama had to hold me because I was camera shy!)

Here I am putting Kisses into this blue container (with the help of Mama).

Next, we're going on the chocolate factory tour. We are going to ride the train and then watch the singing cows.

Ready to go!

All aboard! Hey, I'm too busy looking at the singing cows!

This is what the (simulated) factory looks like. Sorry for the blurry picture, the train ride was kind of bumpy.

Because we didn't have a lot of time, we decided to go directly to the theme park. We weren't able to ride the trolley and go inside the theater as well. We'll just save that for next time.

By the way, I broke a record here in Hersheypark. I rode on 17 rides!! Some of them I rode all by myself!

Count them...

First, Hersheypark Merry-go-round.

With my Papa.

Second, Starship America. See? I'm tall enough!

With Papa again!

Here I am alone on the Dinosaur-go-round ride. But I chickened out at the last minute. So, this ride is not counted.

Third, the Mini-Himalaya Ride with Papa again.

Here's me pointing to Mama while the sleigh is in motion!

Fourth, Mama and me on the train.

Fifth, Mama and me on Traffic Jam.

Sixth, Mama and me on the Space Age Ride!

Seventh, Mama and me on the Scrambler (oops, I'm right there beside mama.)

Eighth, my first ride alone on the Swing Thing! Mama and Papa were so proud!!

Ninth, me alone on the Mini-Pirate Ride.

Tenth, Mama and me on Tiny Timbers.

We're going down....

...Down...

....Down!!!

Sploosh!!!

11th, Papa and me on Rodeo! Take a closer look at my face, you can tell that I'm reeeeeaaaaallly enjoying this ride (but my Papa was scared, hahaha!)

12th, me on the Pony Parade!

13th, me on Tiny Tracks!

14th, me on the Ladybugs!

15th, me on the Froggy Hopper!!

16th, Papa and me on Convoy!

Last, me on the Red Baron! (well, in my case, green baron, hehe)

SEVENTEEN RIDES!!! YIPEEE!!!

Anyway, after I've ridden most all of the kiddie rides here, we decided to check out ZooAmerica. It's a mini-zoo inside the theme park. Cool!

Mama and me at the entrance to the zoo.

OOohhh, crocodiles!

There's a shy black bear behind us.

Oooh, a lion!

Well, that's it for the zoo. I did say it was a mini-zoo.

And with that, we ended our Hersheypark adventure. I had so much fun! You may actually call it a "chocolate-high". :D

So, do they give free chocolates here? It's for me and Mr. Chocolate Syrup here to know, and for you to find out!
